In addition to earning a wage while you learn, completing a Personal Carer Traineeship with BlueCare has other benefits:
- You will be introduced to a BlueCare training partner who will assess your eligibility for Traineeship Funding. If you are eligible, BlueCare will cover the Student Contribution Fee on your behalf. As a trainee, you may also be entitled to government-funded training support payments of up to $5,000 for part-time trainees. These payments are made in six-monthly instalments throughout the duration of your traineeship.
- Get paid above traineeship award rates.
- Receive coaching and mentoring from qualified and experienced Personal Carers.
- Gain practical skills through hands-on training in the workplace or in a classroom.
- Obtain a nationally-recognised qualification and be paid a higher rate on completion.
