Be part of something bigger

For more than 65 years, Blue Care has been empowering people to live life their way – and you can, too. Whether you are joining the long ranks of our Blue Nurses, supplying one of our aged care homes, conducting research that will benefit the lives of the people we serve, volunteering to support a person with a disability or raising much-needed funds for Blue Care, it’s people like you who help to create a better Queensland for all. From working with us to supporting the work we do, here’s how to get involved.

Careers

For more than 65 years, Blue Care has been empowering people to live life their way – and you can, too.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Careers

Blue Care is committed to the employment and career development of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander team members.

Graduate Nurse Program

Join a team of trained and professional Blue Care staff and make a difference in the lives of 13,000 people each and every day.

Student Placement Program

Blue Care welcomes universities and Registered Training Organisations to apply for student placements in both community and residential services.

Volunteer at Blue Care

We welcome volunteers from a wide variety of backgrounds and experience. Our volunteers are anywhere between 16 and 85 years old and include students, retirees, job seekers and professionals.

Fundraising

Help us continue our vital work. Although much of the work we do at Blue Care is made possible through government funding and client contributions, we rely on additional support from the community to deliver the services that do not receive any or only partial funding.

Supplying to Blue Care

There are several ways suppliers and service providers can help Blue Care to deliver high standards of care.
