Even the locals stop by for a bite in our cafe, Geranium Place coffee shop, because the menu is so delicious. Why not invite your family or friends over for a club sandwich and milkshake?
Surrounded by greenery and beautiful blooms, our courtyards and garden benches are the perfect spot to enjoy quality time with your loved ones. Or jump onboard our bus for a spot of lunch along the esplanade or head to a local footy match – there is so much to explore in the Moreton Bay region.
From quirky couches to the unique style in each of our dining rooms, our home is warm and inviting. When you make BlueCare Wynnum your home, you can help nurture our resident chickens and grow your own plants in the garden beds of our Memory Support Unit. We also offer music therapy.
As one of the larger aged care facilities in south-east Queensland, we have a large clinical leadership team dedicated to quality improvement and accessing government initiatives. Our experienced team offer 24-hour support and are dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare to improve physical and emotional wellbeing. Rooms
Single rooms, with shared or private ensuites, have built-in robes; access to staff 24 hours for your safety; and an emergency call system.
Activities
Bingo, movie afternoons, music therapy, and guest performers feature on our social calendar. Take our bus to shopping, pub lunches, picnics, footy matches and on coastal tours. Our auditorium is available for family functions.
Feeling Good
Get pampered by our visiting hairdresser; or find a quiet moment in our chapel and weekly church services.
Food
Our menu is loaded with choice and cooked onsite, using fresh and healthy ingredients. Special dietary requirements are catered for to meet individual and cultural needs. There is also an on-site cafe.
Stay connected
Loved ones can receive updates with our CareApp, including photos, video and audio of special moments, plus notices, events and newsletters.
Health
Access to a range of health professionals such as doctors, dentists, podiatrists, speech therapists, dietitians and physiotherapists.
Dementia care
Our Memory Support Unit has services for people living with dementia.
