We’re very proud of the dining experience at BlueCare Mt Louisa Aged Care Facility, offering a modern menu loaded with nutritious meals cooked fresh onsite.

We’ll serve your eggs just the way you like for breakfast, on top of a variety of cereals, fruits, porridge and juices. Lunch and dinner have multiple options, whether it be a wholesome roast, fresh fish or a simple sandwich. And our new Diet and Nutrition System, which is coming soon, will enable you to choose your own meals from a menu tailored to your likes, dislikes and dietary requirements.

For those wanting to adventure out, we do mystery bus tours to many beauty spots in Townsville, including beaches and dams. If you prefer quiet time, you can tend to our herb garden or enjoy the leafy courtyards accessible from every wing. Every three months, we host themed community morning teas – Mad Hatter’s Tea Party proves the most popular. Arts and crafts, a men’s group, and bingo are just a few other activities on offer.

BlueCare Mt Louisa is located on a quiet street in Townsville with public transport nearby, and shopping centres and other services just 10 minutes away. We also have a secure, 16-bed Memory Support Unit and offer doll therapy working with Dementia Australia.
