If you love music and chatting over fresh-baked scones and a hot cuppa, our Blue Care Sunnybank Hills Carramar Aged Care Facility is likely your pot of tea.
Aside from regular high teas, you can enjoy a social calendar filled with concerts, fashion parades and singalongs. Roving musicians can even visit your room for a private mini-concert. And if you have a green thumb (or would like to have one), you are welcome to grow your own plants and tend to some of the gardens. Also keep an eye out for the friendly, trained dogs who are regulars to the centre in search of cuddles and compliments.
Blue Care Carramar features thoughtful retrofitting that embraces maximum care without losing our down-to-earth feel. We are located on a central street in the heart of Sunnybank Hills, with public transport at the front gate and just five minutes from shopping centres, services and amenities. Our tight-knit team understand that being able to live life your way is important and we work to ensure you can make the most of the lifestyle activities that appeal to you. I joined Blue Care in 1999. I enjoy providing programs that engage the residents in purposeful activities that enhance their quality of life. Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, travelling, meeting people and shopping.
I started with Blue Care 10 years ago in 2008 and have a Certificate 3 in Aged Care and Community Care. I found that I loved working in aged care straight away, particularly meeting new people and being able to help them.
I started with Blue Care in 2011. Building a rapport with our residents and their family is very important to me, especially being able to put them at ease and show them that we genuinely care about all of our residents.
