Safe Alert Alarms provide assistive technology solutions to help people stay connected with the community for longer, providing peace of mind for the alarm user and their family. In the event of an emergency, the alarm provides a way to contact emergency services from anywhere in the home or garden with just a press of a button.
Harnessing the latest technology, a Safe Alert Alarm delivers a service that provides up to 40 hours’ battery backup in the event of a power outage. Each alarm is supplied with a medical alert pendant that can be worn on the wrist or around the neck, allowing the user to activate an alarm call from anywhere in the home, without having to struggle to reach a phone.
When the alarm is activated via the pendant or the central alarm unit, it contacts the 24/7 monitoring centre, putting the user in contact with one of our trained care consultants who will aid the user by carrying out their direct request or assessing the situation and determining what action needs to be taken; such as contacting a family member or friend, after-hours doctor, or emergency services. Our care consultant will stay on the line until help arrives.
A Safe Alert Alarm assists people to maintain their independence and safety in the home. A variety of users can benefit from the Safe Alert Alarm, including:
