Setting goals is an important part of creating an NDIS plan, because supports are funded if they can help you to achieve your goals. Take some time to imagine what your life would be like if anything was possible. Where would you go and what would you do? How would you spend your time and with whom? Then think about what you want to avoid in your life – What makes you unhappy? What’s stopping you from doing what you want to do? Try to imagine goals for all areas of your life, from your living situation, to independence, health and well being, social activities and relationships, community, education, and employment.
