With views of frangipani trees and rose bushes coupled with a cosy interior and plenty of communal space, BlueCare Masters Lodge Aged Care Facility feels like home. Take a gentle stroll along our many pathways through the gorgeous gardens, or simply enjoy a moment in our peaceful courtyard.
Our entertainment line-up is unlike any other. Singers, bands and dancers bring music to our ears every morning and afternoon. If you’re a performer from way back or just like to belt out a tune, you’ll love our karaoke sessions. Our minibus can take you to beaches or restaurants for a bite to eat. Or stay in and enjoy bingo, trivia, and arts and craft. We offer cognitive stimulation activities, along with a library trolley of books, CDs and DVDs. And our 16-bed Memory Support Unit uses the Montessori Method and personalised activities to support people living with dementia. We tailor hobbies to your liking, as we want you to continue enjoying the things you love.
A coffee shop and two kitchenettes, plus barbecues mean there are plenty of areas to entertain friends and family. Families and loved ones can also stay connected with our CareApp, which provides photos, videos and audio of special moments, plus notices, events and newsletters.
Your dining experience
We know how important the dining experience is. Our exciting new Diet and Nutrition System offers you a daily menu based on your likes, dislikes and dietary requirements. You can order your meals for the next day via a tablet, allowing us to build a picture of the foods you enjoy and any areas you might need extra nutritional support. The result: A menu created just for you, based on your choices, that is nutritious and safe to eat.
BlueCare Masters Lodge is on a quiet street in the heart of Hervey Bay, with public transport nearby and just five minutes from shopping centres, services and amenities. Our experienced staff offer 24-hour support and are dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare to improve physical and emotional wellbeing. Single rooms feature ensuite and built-in robes; access to staff 24 hours for your safety; and an emergency call system.
Get-togethers
Singers and bands visit twice a day; plus enjoy movie afternoons; trivia; arts and crafts; special morning teas; and bus excursions.
Feeling Good
Feel great with a fresh look by our hairdresser, who visits regularly.
Health
Visiting doctors, along with access to a range of health professionals including dentists, podiatrists, speech therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
Food
Order meals tailored to your likes and dislikes using our new Diet and Nutrition system. Special dietary requirements are catered for to meet individual and cultural needs.
Dementia Care
Our Memory Support Unit has services for people living with dementia, including Montessori techniques and doll therapy.
Stay connected

I have worked with BlueCare for seven years. The job is so rewarding as it allows me to walk away from the day knowing I have created a brighter, happier moment in someone’s day. Every day I like to think I have made a positive difference in somebody’s life. I am very passionate about my role and our residents' health and wellbeing. I manage a dedicated and passionate team of volunteers.
