BlueCare Homefield is a spacious home on a quiet street in the heart of Mackay, with public transport nearby and five minutes from shopping centres, services and amenities. We have plenty of nooks and small gardens to relax in and all rooms have direct access to a variety of community lounge rooms and outdoor areas, ideal for entertaining family and friends.
We are a friendly and supportive community, and our professional and highly experienced staff provide 24-hour support. We also have a Memory Support Unit for people living with dementia.
Your dining experience
Our new Diet and Nutrition System offers you a daily menu based on your likes, dislikes and dietary requirements. You can order your meals for the next day via a tablet, allowing us to build a picture of the foods you enjoy and any areas you might need extra nutritional support. The result: A menu created just for you, based on your choices, that is nutritious and safe to eat.

I have been at BlueCare Homefield for over 30 years. I work in laundry and enjoy interacting with our residents every day when I bring their clothes back to their rooms. I love to hear their stories and share a laugh. In my spare time I like to keep fit by running, riding my bike and walking.
