BlueCare Edenvale Residents and Clients to Enjoy Show Day

BlueCare Gladstone Edenvale Aged Care Facility will host Show Day on Friday 12 August, bringing residents, clients, staff and their families together to enjoy all the fun of the fair.

Integrated Service Manager, Ms Sharon Triffett said that the residents and clients were really looking forward to the inaugural event.

"Show Day is designed to bring residents, clients, staff and their families together in a fun and relaxed way," she said.

"Many of our residents are unable to travel to community events, such as regional Show Days, so we thought we would bring the fun of the fair to them.

"There is going to be plenty of entertainment and old-fashioned refreshments that appeal to both the young and the young at heart.

"We have an ice cream van, fairy floss and animal farm joining in the festivities.

"There is something for everyone to enjoy.

"We are delighted with the support we have received from the community with approximately 40 volunteers, including senior students from Chanel College Gladstone, assisting on the day," Ms Triffett said.

BlueCare Gladstone Edenvale Aged Care Facility is a 52 bed facility with 12 memory support beds. Approximately 100 people are expected to attend the event.
