Healing services and after care

Stagpole Street Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Unit offers residential alcohol and other drug rehabilitation services, predominantly to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples from across Queensland, as well as interstate.

Based in Townsville, the unit specialises in culturally appropriate healing services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people whose lives have been negatively affected by substance use. Services are delivered by Pinangba, an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led arm of UnitingCare, in partnership with BlueCare, working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across Queensland.
