A spot of gardening in the morning and a relaxing spa bath therapy session in the afternoon – life at Blue Care Bundaberg Pioneer Aged Care Facility is about feeling nurtured and being encouraged to thrive.
Regular morning walks (or should that be talks?) are a great way to start the day and there is space for you to tend to your own garden area. Your friends and family will love the open, airy feel of the sprawling grounds and a large gazebo is a pleasant place to welcome them for visits. When you’re seeking company, Bundaberg Pioneer Aged Care Facility is scattered with relaxation areas and kitchenettes, so it’s easy to grab a coffee and a snack.
Feeling creative? Every second Sunday a mindful art program will let you experiment with colour and paint. Fun craft activities are also a much-loved part of life at Bundaberg Pioneer Aged Care Facility, where you can enjoy the challenge of learning new skills. Our residents are drawn from as far afield as Biggenden, Childers and Gin Gin to create a true community, and our professional and highly experienced staff provide 24-hour support, ensuring you receive the highest-quality care and services available.
We hope you will consider Bundaberg Pioneer Aged Care Facility as your home.

I have been part of the Pioneer team since 2014. What I really love about working here is being able to help people achieve what they can't do themselves and when they smile I know I am doing something right.
I have been working at Pioneer since 1999. My role is perfect for me because I really enjoy administration, numbers and a challenge! In my spare time, I like to sew and make special cakes and sugar biscuits for my grandchildren.
I have been with Blue Care since 2013. My love of helping people is the reason I pursued a career in nursing. I really enjoy getting to know and understand the residents here at Pioneer, and it is really satisfying being able to support them too.
I have worked for Blue Care for more than 25 years. I like to help all our residents here in any way possible and I really love it if I can make their day and put a smile on
their face. When I’m not at work,
I love to sew, craft and cook.
