2009 Blue Care Writing Awards

To help celebrate Seniors Week (15-23 August), Blue Care clients and residents were encouraged to share their creative writing talents and personal experiences under the theme of “the wisdom of age”.

Seniors Week is about Queenslanders of all ages joining together and celebrating the valuable contributions of seniors in our community.

The judges were delighted at the variety of interpretation and the literary skill shown by the 139 entries. All clients and residents who entered are to be highly commended for taking the time to enter and for sharing their stories of wisdom.
Congratulations to all our winners!
