Volunteer
We are extremely fortunate to have more than 2,200 volunteers who donate their time and talents to our services, matching our commitment to care with their own.
The invaluable support provided by our trained volunteers has a significant and positive impact on our clients' and residents' quality of life; without their continuing assistance we would not be able to achieve our current care levels.
Volunteering with Blue Care opens a world of opportunities for you to help others as well as gain experience and develop your own skills.
Volunteers can assist in the following areas:

| Friendly sitting |

| Transport assistance |
Using their own vehicles to transport clients to shops, medical appointments and other outings. |

Assisting in recreational activities such as music, excursions, arts and crafts, meal preparation, concerts etc. |

Become a volunteer
To become a volunteer you will be initially interviewed by a Blue Care Volunteer Coordinator to ensure that your skills and interests are matched within the environment that will be most rewarding for you.
If you would like to join the Blue Care team, please complete our Volunteer Expression of Interest form or contact your local Blue Care centre.
Government regulations stipulate that all volunteers are required to undergo a probity check prior to commencing. We provide an extensive orientation program which is mandatory for all new volunteers.
