Blue Care is not just about aged care. We offer a broad range of services – from helping with self management of chronic disease to domestic assistance. We also offer services such as nursing, palliative care, continence advice, retirement living and disability services. With 2,200 volunteers and over 8,000 staff employed, we go out of our way to make life more comfortable no matter what your circumstance.

Our services operate within 80 communities throughout Queensland and Northern New South Wales. Even remote farming communities benefit from our services, as many of our staff live and work in these areas. We have 1,400 cars on the road delivering services not only to clients in cities and suburbs, but also in regional and remote locations.

While many family members contact us on behalf of their loved ones, doctors often refer patients needing ongoing care. We have built up a strong reputation with medical practitioners, and we value the trust they place in us.

In 2009, the public voted Blue Care a Q150 Icon, recognising the valuable contribution our organisation has made to Queensland’s development. We are also only the fourth organisation to be named a 'Queensland Great'. These significant achievements recognise the importance of our work and the extraordinary support our staff provide to thousands of people who are frail, vulnerable or in need of support.
We understand every client is different and each case individual, which is why we have different packages and options to suit every situation. We know that sometimes clients would prefer to live in their own home and receive help there. We understand that others may want to take their favourite chair with them when moving into one of our residential facilities. We do our best to accommodate everyone’s needs and help promote a sense of wellbeing, no matter what the circumstance.
