Who is eligible?

Blue Care provides an affordable range of aged care beds at all sites. Some residents may be required to contribute to their care and accommodation costs. The level you are required to contribute will be determined by an asset test and a means test performed by the Government at the time of assessment.

To be eligible for residential aged care, residents must undergo a health and financial assessment with an Australian Government Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT).

The Department of Health and Ageing provides up-to-date information about the ACAT process.

To find out more about eligibility and contributions that the Government may require you to make for both care and accommodation visit the MyAgedCare website.
