Who is eligible?
Blue Care provides an affordable range of aged care beds at all sites. Some residents may be required to contribute to their care and accommodation costs. The level you are required to contribute will be determined by an asset test and a means test performed by the Government at the time of assessment.
To be eligible for residential aged care, residents must undergo a health and financial assessment with an Australian Government Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT).
The Department of Health and Ageing provides up-to-date information about the ACAT process.

Accessing our aged care services
To access Blue Care’s aged care services, a Resident Agreement must be completed, in addition to appointing an Enduring Power of Attorney (EPOA) and Guarantor. A sample Resident Agreement and Information about appointing an EPOA and Guarantor are located below.

All Blue Care residential aged care facilities are fully accredited by the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency for compliance against the Residential Aged Care Accreditation Standards (RACAS).
