Accreditation
Blue Care has current accreditation with the following accreditation agencies:
- Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS);
- Residential Aged Care Accreditation Standards (RACAS); and
- ISO 9001.
The accreditation process involves Blue Care submitting its centres and services for review by an independent agency such as those listed above.
We recognise that accreditation is a vital process in organisational improvement and the achievement in a standard of excellence in care delivery. Processes such as accreditation assist organisations to improve overall performance, ensuring the provision of strong leadership, the establishment of a culture of continuous quality improvement, and a focus on clients and outcomes.
Blue Care is committed to continuous quality improvement and believes that quality outcomes are achieved by:
- Promoting, developing, and monitoring the integration of quality management and best practice principles throughout the organisation; and
- The implementation of best practice initiatives.
